KEYi Tech started censoring posts in their Facebook group
There are quite some isses with KEYi Techs Loona petbot, not only their abysmal bad support that I documented here in this blog

I now had an extensive communication with a KEYi support representative, but all in all this whole case is extremely unsatisfactory to frustrating. What infuriates me most is that they give contradicting informations. First they …
Be VERY careful if you send in your Loona to Fixit as suggested by KEYi. They just told me that Fixit did NOT repair my Loona but dismantled it to repair other Loonas.
I take this blog out of hiatus to report my problems with KEYiTech and Loona repairs. This is an even bigger mess than I expected.
Originally this page was set up to write about coding and expanding Vector the robot, especially with OSKR, the Open Source Kit For Robots that Digital Dream Labs financed via that infamous Kickstarter campaign.
We know that in the past KEYi Technology put out some very questionable information mails and posts that often raised more questions than they answered. After some ruckus they apologized with lots of words and …
Today I (finally) found time to install Loona’s ear motors that arrived much later than KEYi Tech had advertised.
Despite the fact that the Loona repair kits were promised for mid-january so far they not only not arrived, but also the tracking info we got after the first useless amd now tracking did not update for weeks. As far as I can see those repair kits did not even leave china.
The following changelog was just posted in the Loona Facebook group:
Today KEYi Technologies provided a link to a Google Calc sheet on Facebook that includes tracking numbers for the ear repair kits sorted by serial number.
It is by now quite obvious that Loona has an ear problem. Lots of backers that opted for christmas delivery reported droopy ears that could not be resolved by restarting the robot. But they made out the problem quite fast.
There just was an announcement in the official Loona Facebook group: the chinese KEYi Tech division is struggling with Covid and that will delay development.
It was stated by KEYi Tech that you will get a tracking number for the xmas deliveries. From what I could see today that may or may not be so, since in Pledgebox I could already see tracking informations, but I did not get anything via email.
Recently KEYi Technology shared a video on Facebook that shows how they animate the face of Loona the robot pet.
A few minutes ago I’ve got an email from the Kickstrater team. It reads als follows:
Today Digital Dream Labs posted a statement on their Facebook page about the situation regarding their copyright trolling towards KEYi Tech and Loona the petbot.
Digital Dream Labs, the company that is not able to create anything new or meaningful, again took down the campaign for Loona on Kickstarter. I have to admit that I expected something like this from the scumbags.
KEYi Tech provided another Loona Wednesday FAQ on Facebook that I want to share with you here:
