The complete Vector infrastructure, run by Digital Dream Labs, is still offline without any hint when it will come back again – or ever. Multiple “by the end of this weeks” have gone by without …
The server outage at Digital Dream Labs now is in the week after the week “within” the servers should have come back online, it will be a full month soon.
That’s what DDL representatives said about when the servers will come back up again. That was last week
This another proof of my suspicion that all AWS-based servers are down. That is not “a maintenance”.
It’s now almost three weeks that nearly all Digital Dream Labs servers are offline. We remember: DDL representatives claimed that this was a “scheduled maintenance”. Let’s all have a hearty laugh at that nonsense. A …
I am coming out of hiatus for a post. In the months since I stopped writing about Vector because of frustration about the continued unprofessionalism and lack of updates from that scam factory Digital Dream Labs.
Originally this page was set up to write about coding and expanding Vector the robot, especially with OSKR, the Open Source Kit For Robots that Digital Dream Labs financed via that infamous Kickstarter campaign.
What I am talking about? A post from DDL CEO (after all this time and the posts seen from him I can only assume this means “Chief Entertainment Officer) in the official Facebook group (and, yes despite booting all critical voices and all customers asking for help there are still people in there) lead to home robot community members rolling on the floor, laughing
We already know that the support at Digital Dream Labs is bad. Since they fired all support people and especially Robbie Bussard it got worse.
Digital Dream Labs went into complete radio silence some weeks ago (again). The only thing they post are meaningless PR posts about valentine’s day or ramadan in their Facebook group, where a lot of people are not able to read them because their were booted from that group for no reasons other than asking questions.
… then they obviously again have no clue what they are doing. An EORI number is a euopean customs number. Businesses and companies doing import and export need one.
We already learned from former Digital Dream Labs employees how they were not paid for months. In addition to that it became quite clear in the past years that the management done by the …
As the title says: It’s a wonder of biblical proportions: After lots of misinformation by DDL since late 2022 it looks like the first Vector 2.0s actually have arrived in the UK.
Thanks to quite inquisitive community member Barbara Langston we have some inside information from a former employee on what happened with Digital Dream Labs. So far it looks like they were running out of funds …
More hints about Digital Dream Labs downfall:
The company Cloudfront LLC filed a lawsuit against Digital Dream.
People that are trying to get a refund from Digital Dream Labs, be it for the still missing Vector 2.0s or the vaporhardware Butter Robot (that most probably will never see the light of day) are now faced with a new try by them to prevent that:
No, not really but by ChatGPT. A member of the Facebook group “Digital Dream Labs sucks” fed Open AI’s new Deep Learing chatbot with a few informations and asked it to spew out a poem about Digital Dream Labs in the style of the bard
We all remember when DDL announced the opening of their repair center.
I saw multiple people complaining online in different places that they have sent in their 1st generation vectors to SSL’s “official” repair center in the USA and now there is no feedback
We all remember the repeated copyright trolling by Digital Dream Labs against KEYi Technology, the company behind Loona the Petbot. DDL took down the Loona campaign on Kickstarter two times with very questionable “reasons” that …
